Wetlands Info Session
(New Paltz) The Town of New Paltz will host NYSDEC Biodiversity Outreach Coordinator Laura Heady who will offer an informational program on wetlands, Thursday, June 2nd at 7:30pm in Town Hall, 1 Veterans Drive. Ms. Heady, of the DEC’s Hudson River Estuary Program and Cornell University, states, “Most communities recognize the importance of functioning road networks, water and sewer systems, and utilities and communication lines. Sometimes less understood is our dependence on functioning natural systems – those that support clean air and water, for example.” The program will highlight some of the diverse wetland types in Ulster County, the environmental and economic benefits of wetlands, and how local conservation efforts can contribute to the protection of wetlands for future generations. This presentation is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.

THIS WETLANDS LAW NONSENSE IS NOTHING MORE THAN THE PROMOTION OF RADICAL ENVIRONMENTALIST'S PERSONAL AGENDA. THE BOARD MEMBERS ARE IN ON IT, IN COLLUSION WITH PARTICULAR INSIDER RESIDENTS AT THE DEC REGION 3 OFFICE. IT IS SAD THAT THESE MISGUIDED RESIDENTS CAN'T SEE THE TAX INCREASES FOR THE TRESS. SLOWLY BUT SURELY THESE ECO TERRORISTS ARE DRIVING THE REST OF US OUT...
Feel free to share all the conspiracy theories you like, anonymous, but please TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK. Research proves what your eye should make obvious: it's more difficult to read text in capital letters. If you're angry, choose words to express that. If your keyboard is broken, go to the recycling center and see if there's a spare in the electronics trailer. If you're too lazy to follow all those silly rules about writing, please stop commenting.
Obviously, "Anonymous" needs to come to the information session more than most, because anyone with accurate information on wetlands and groundwater resources wouldn't post such drivel. Hope to see you there; maybe you'll even bring an open mind? Eco-terrorists! That's funny!
